THE JOURNEY
Easier to paint a masterpiece
or write a classic novel
than to carve away
all that does not reflect
the vision
that you have of yourself.
still,
when our work in the outer world is done each day
we are left with the unfinished inner sculpture
of our ideal selves.
God designs us,
Awareness with intention
carves us into light.
