My loneliness is of my own making

I had walled myself away

from myself

and therefore, from all,

it is gray today and raining

inside and out,

I let the sadness flow in, flow out,

I lay down in this water

i am soaked in sorrow,

washed by my own compassion,

drenched to the bones

of my soul,

Let it rain, let it rain, let it rain.

I will hide my hurt no more.

It isn’t easy to forgive myself

for all the fear and hurt I’ve caused in others,

I am mostly water reaching for you

to meet myself.

Sometimes 

when I look into your eyes

i see myself.

We are separated only by skin and judgments.

Lose the judgements,

Make a hard decision easy,

Love Everyone.

With hearts wide open,

We can save one another,

With arms wide open,

We can save our world.

Inspire me,

Return to me my faith

in man,

After all the broken words we speak,

After our daily mundane agendas are achieved,

After cruelty and selfishness...

A juggler does the impossible!

A piece of art blows your mind!

Or better yet,

You see a loving kindness,

A human being humane,

This is what inspires me

and drives me back 

to sane.

 Be the fulcrum in your teeter-totter, 

wrestle in your sandbox.

Become whatever  is necessary. 

Be all things to all people. 

Expand beyond the limits of your disbeliefs,

Imagine…
